lines can be used to show many diffrent thing for example

leading up to a main object

jagged lines to make someone uncomfortable

jagged lines dont have a main focus  

Shape

shapes have positive space which is made of solid shapes

and negative space which has space that creates another shape 

form

form is a photo with 3d shapes

photographs work on 2 dimensional shapes but like  can give the inpretion of  a 3d shape

Texture

texture concerns itself with the surface of a subject

Space

space is the area that is allowed to breath when using the rule of thirds

Patterns

patterns is a repeating object ,often people are more attacted if they is something interupted
