Kame comes from Grandpa Kamenori.
Chiyo comes from Grandma Chiyoko.
Together, they became Kamechiyo—
their old home, where we hope you can slow down,
go fishing, do nothing for a while,
and simply enjoy the passing of time.
Someday, when we grow old and become grandparents ourselves,
we hope this place will continue to welcome people
with the same warmth as their home once did.

The Kamechiyo logo depicts a home with a crane and a turtle,
symbols of longevity and good fortune in Japan.
At its heart is the character 「福」(fuku),
meaning happiness, good fortune, and blessings.
It also represents Fukue Island, our home in Goto.
The logo was designed by our friend Kaoru Agatsuma,
who lives in Morioka.
