Daniel Kabonga Hassan
The Founder
Daniel Kabonga Hassan is a young visionary whose passion for empowering others has led him to pursue a path of leadership, education, and change-making. As the Prime Minister of his school, Blue State Secondary, Daniel has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. His leadership role allows him to actively contribute to shaping the school’s environment, inspiring his peers to think critically and act responsibly.
Beyond his duties as Prime Minister, Daniel is also a journalist for the school's publication, where he uses his platform to advocate for social issues and inform students about pressing matters. His role as a journalist has allowed him to refine his communication skills, preparing him for his future aspirations in both business and social impact.
Daniel’s dedication to entrepreneurship stems from his belief in the power of young people to create change. He is particularly focused on teaching his peers the value of entrepreneurship as a tool for both personal growth and societal transformation. Through workshops and mentorship, he encourages students to think creatively and take risks in the pursuit of their dreams.
Daniel’s project, Kakuma Climate Action, is an embodiment of this vision. He expects it to be a catalyst for not only raising awareness about the devastating effects of climate change on refugees but also creating sustainable solutions that can be implemented within refugee communities. His ultimate goal is to empower young people to take ownership of their futures, both in terms of entrepreneurship and social responsibility, especially in the face of climate challenges.
