Web Design-The Crimson Post
Recently, I started redesigning our publication's website. The following photos display a before and after of the website's Sports section as a part of the redesign. Before, there were very few images to make it engaging for readers. In our redesign, many images were added including many of our students, making every page more exciting to see than before. Overall, these improvements have converted the Sports section into a more exciting and engaging space that we hope will encourage our audience to read more.
Instagram-The Crimson Post
To expand the regular audience of The Crimson Post this year, I worked on growing our social media presence through our new Instagram. Before the creation of the account, The Crimson Post had little to no media presence, but now students and parents can follow us for updates. I have designed posts through the platform Canva and posted daily stories for updates on the school while also posting stories as reminders for the bi-weekly meetings of the The Crimson Post. We have amassed more than eighty followers who regularly check our feed while delivering school news in a new and improved format.
