New Print Format:

In June 2024, our school's publication underwent a series of changes regarding the style of the print issues and began incorporating various graphics into our print issues.  Before the changes, our publication had never used graphics as a part of the issues. I needed to learn how to incorporate them into our new style along with helping the other writers enhance their pages with various design ideas. As part of this initiative, I have been responsible for creating different graphic elements, such as posters for club announcements, diagrams, graphs, and even QR codes that direct readers to additional information on relevant topics. I believe the graphics enhance the page's visual appearance and provide a valuable opportunity to connect images to the stories being presented to the reader, leading to a deeper understanding of the presented content. All the graphics that I created were made using Canva and I have enjoyed incorporating the graphics into the print issues.
