I joined the Crimson Post during my freshman year of high school, allowing myself to step outside of my comfort zone and join an organization that I knew very little about. From there, I was able to completely fall in love with journalism and find a new interest that differed from the ones that I had before. Through the school’s newspaper, I can talk to students, and faculty members and write articles that they are truly interested in reading. Of all of the stories that I have written, my favorite is “Millis Middle/High School Building Faces Potential Renovations”. Our school has been debating the subject for many years, and finally, we were able to report on the subject with an adequate amount of facts. I was able to speak with our school's principal and superintendent and hear their opinions on which plan they would like to see implemented for Millis High School. I have loved writing for the school's newspaper, and I believe it has been a great opportunity to make an impact in the community and to ensure that all of the student's voices are heard. Below, are some of my favorite stories that I have written and each story leads to a link for easy reading.
