Jaewook Sung’s research interests include exploring pro-environmental stimuli such as smart meters and energy conservation policies that can grow, influence, and reinforce the energy-saving behaviors of citizens. Recently, he has focused on enhancing the precision of carbon emission measurements by refining Scope 3 emission factors to advance sustainability in response to the climate crisis. Additionally, his research encompasses issues related to carbon credits.

Seungil Baik aspires to become a proficient expert in the fields of energy and environment. He aims to lead new renewable energy ventures as an energy specialist. As part of this goal, he has a particular interest in the hydrogen economy and the environmental impacts. Additionally, his undergraduate research experience with the LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) methodology has fostered an interest in Scope 1, 2, 3 emissions, and he plans to conduct related research in this area.
Currently, he is exploring scenario-based LCA (IAM-LCA) to evaluate environmental impacts under various policy and technology pathways. He is also learning tools such as OpenLCA and Brightway2 (Python-based), while actively engaging with global LCA experts to contribute to a more sustainable future.

She expects to conduct research on greenhouse gas emissions resulting from energy use driven by various human activities.
