Five Vices is a clothing brand & community that nurtures self improvement.
The Team's Biggest project that we prepared was the release of the Bandana, which would be the first item available during the Q1 Drop.
Tools I Used:
Research & Planning - Pinterest, Milanote, Google Drive
Cameras - Sony A 6400, Canon SX 740, Sony DSC
Editing - Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom
Research & preperation:
Using tools like Pinterest to compile wardrobe, poses, & blocking ideas.
Assigning a different way to wear the bandana to each of 4 locations.
Reviewing each location's Lighting.
Photoshoot:
My Role in the photoshoot was to capture
Photos - Locations 1, 2 , 3
Video - Location 1
BTS Video - Location 3 , 4
Using a organized guide of key poses for each location helped us stay efficient.
The only adjustments that were made were due to natural lighting.
Having different photographers & directors on site helped us capture from more angles and use different lenses.
We also incorporated mixed media with a VHS camcorder & and film photography.
Editing:
I edited mostly still photos of the model and BTS photos.
I used Adobe Lightroom for most adjustments and Photoshop for bigger adjustments and effects.
The team critiqued throughout.
Results:
We were able to use my BTS footage for thumbnails when planing recruitment for the next intern cycle.
I think my biggest takeaway was how important PLANNING is before a shoot.
