Md Tanjemul Islam
Tanjemul is a Research Assistant at the SMART Lab, pursuing a Master of Engineering in the School of Engineering and Technology. Prior to joining CMU, he received a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Electronics Engineering and an MSc in Computer Science. He has also over six years of experience working as a software engineer in Bangladesh.
His research spans Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Twin technologies, and immersive technologies, with a focus on Automotive Vehicle Safety & Cybersecurity. My work explores how connected systems and virtual simulations can improve vehicle safety, predict system behavior, and enhance security. Tanjemul enjoys reading books, exploring new cultures, traveling, watching documentaries and movies, and staying curious about emerging technologies.
Jeba Maliha
Jeba is currently pursuing a Master’s in Engineering at Central Michigan University. Her research focuses on leveraging Artificial Intelligence in the healthcare domain to enhance early diagnosis, improve accessibility, and advance patient outcomes. She is passionate about using AI to address real-world healthcare challenges and aspires to translate her work into impactful industry applications.
Outside of academics, Jeba enjoys traveling, playing indoor games, watching movies, and staying active through fitness.
