THINK GLOBAL, ACT LOCAL!!

OBJECTIVES AND OUTCOMES

O1. Develop a positive and responsible attitude towards the protection of the environment–both through indoors and outdoors class activities

O2. Raise the level of involvement for 20 students belonging to vulnerable groups (families with one parent; students with learning or social difficulties, etc.) when participating in extracurricular activities, both indoors and outdoors.

O3: Develop key competencies among students: communicating in a foreign language; digital, social and civic competencies; cultural awareness and expression.

O4: Reducing the negative effects of the Covid-19 pandemics over socializing, communication and collaboration skills among 300 students–by offering them opportunities to converse and relate more, to share teamwork activities in a safe, multicultural environment.

O5: Develop a long-term healthy life-style to 300 students aged 12-14 by taking part in non-formal activities which will emphasize the positive effect of a healthy eating system on the growing up of teenagers

TARGET GROUPS

The target groups of our project are the students and teachers from our school and from the other 5 partner schools. It is, on the one hand, about 300 children aged between 12 and 14, belonging to the lower-secondary level.

And as we will have 5 mobilities, they will take part as follows: 18 students and 2 teachers in each mobility. Of these students, 20 students belong to vulnerable groups, i.e. come either from single-parent families, from families with parents abroad or have learning difficulties.

These students will be mentally and psychologically guided throughout the project by the school counseling teacher.

OUTDOOR EDUCATION
