My name is Kensuke Yoshizawa (吉澤 研介), and I am an associate professor at Faculty of Education, Nagasaki University.

I am interested in calculus of variations and differential equations. More precisely,
Variational problems for geometric functionals,
Obstacle problems for elliptic or parabolic equations.
Keywords: bending energy, minimizing movements, shooting method.

I received my PhD from Tohoku University in March 2022. My PhD thesis was written under the supervision of Professor Shinya Okabe.
