Stanley Holloway was perhaps best known for his comic monologues, especially 'Albert & The Lion' and 'Sam, Sam, Pickup Tha' Musket', and as Arthur P. Doolittle in 'My Fair Lady'.
In this talk I look at his life, and especially three men who were to have a great influence of his life and career, namely:-
Leslie Henson
Marriott Edgar
William Shakespeare
and intersperse it with readings of some of his best loved monologues and comic verse.
