The United States’ sesquicentennial celebration in July 2026 is the catalyst for a new version of The American Adventure; this one is subtitled The Last 100 Years. Using new Animatronic technology such as seen in the Walt Disney animatronic, guests will get to re-live key moments in American history since 1926. Rather than just using the same events found in portions of the 2018 show (the most recent update), this show
The scenes not involving Audio Animatronics are played out mainly through the media most popular at the time–radio up to 1941, black-and-white TV from 1941 to 1965, and color TV from 1965. The radio and TVs pop up near center front stage with (the same) video being played on a large screen at the back of the theater. Actual clips from the event are played.
