a movement prepared, empowered, and unstoppable

WePrepare.Us is a preparedness and empowerment initiative founded in 2020 during COVID‑19. Its mission is to promote life‑cycle preparedness—not doomsday prepping—especially within underprepared African American communities. The platform focuses on strengthening financial, strategic, tactical, and holistic readiness so families can withstand and recover from everyday at‑risk events.

The Core Problem 

a major economic warning:

• African American median wealth is projected to reach ZERO by 2053

• Latino American median wealth projected to reach zero by 2073

• Many families are already living in a “zero‑wealth household economy” today

Key causes include:

• Lack of emergency, short‑term, and long‑term savings

• Tactical unpreparedness for crises

• Poor documentation for legacy and wealth transfer

• Insufficient participation in African American banking systems

This is unacceptable 

Preparedness is as a cultural, economic, and spiritual responsibility.
