Welcome, everyone, to the Juniques Gospel Musical Review Reporter Orientation.

We are excited, honored, and blessed to have you here.

Today, you are stepping into more than a role.

You are stepping into a movement — a movement that uplifts gospel artists, strengthens multicultural gospel culture, and connects gospel music enthusiasts with the voices they love.

You are now part of the JGMR family, and we are grateful for your commitment.

2. THE HEART OF JGMR

Facilitator:

Let’s begin with who we are.

JGMR exists to:

• Elevate independent and multicultural gospel artists

• Document gospel culture across Arizona and beyond

• Build a sustainable gospel media ecosystem

• Strengthen underserved communities through visibility

• Connect gospel enthusiasts with authentic gospel expression

We are not just a media platform.

We are a bridge, a voice, and a movement.

And you — as a Gospel Reporter — are a key part of that mission.

3. THE ROLE OF A GOSPEL REPORTER

Facilitator:

A JGMR Gospel Reporter is:

• A storyteller of praise

• A documentarian of gospel culture

• A connector between artists and enthusiasts

• A voice for the overlooked

• A representative of the Juniques movement

• A builder of visibility and unity

Your work is ministry.

Your reporting is service.

Your presence is impact.

4. THE 1,440-MINUTE PRINCIPLE

Facilitator:

Every day, God gives you a gift — 1,440 minutes.

Everyone receives the same amount:

• Gospel artists

• Reporters

• Leaders

• Influencers

• Entrepreneurs

What separates outcomes is how intentionally those minutes are used.

As a reporter, your minutes are your platform‑building currency.

Here’s the JGMR Reporter Daily Blueprint:

• 10 minutes — Research or identify a gospel artist

• 10 minutes — Connect with an artist or enthusiast

• 10 minutes — Share a gospel highlight or story

• 10 minutes — Improve your reporter skills

• 10 minutes — Support another reporter or artist

• 5 minutes — Reflect on a blessing or insight

Small actions create big impact.

5. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Facilitator:

Your responsibilities include:

Weekly

• Submit at least one report

• Engage with artists and enthusiasts

• Attend JGMR calls

• Share multicultural gospel content

Monthly

• Conduct at least one full interview

• Highlight at least three artists

• Support fellow reporters

• Participate in movement activities

You are not alone — the movement supports you.

6. CORE REPORTER SKILLS

Interviewing

• Capture emotion and testimony

Writing & Storytelling

Your writing should be:

Do:

• Share consistently

• Promote others

Don’t:

• Post negativity

• Share unverified information

Relationship Building

• Follow up

• Encourage artists

7. THE FIRST 7 DAYS

• Day 1: Read the Reporter Pledge

• Day 2: Create your reporter introduction post

• Day 3: Identify 3 artists to follow and support

• Day 4: Conduct your first micro‑interview

• Day 5: Share a gospel highlight

• Day 6: Connect with another JGMR reporter

• Day 7: Submit your first official report

This builds confidence and momentum.
