During Eco Week we were delighted to welcome Síofra’s mum, Emma, who brought along a fascinating collection of natural treasures she has gathered over the years. Her collection included a rabbit, platypus and deer skulls, a bird’s nest, horse teeth, and even a piranha all the way from the Amazon!
The children were genuinely captivated and thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on experience of seeing, touching, and exploring each item. It was a such an engaging and memorable learning opportunity.
A huge thank you to Emma for sharing her knowledge and inspiring curiosity about the natural world. We are sure the children will be keeping a keen eye out for nature’s treasures on their future walks!
