Quiet Witnesses turns to London, placing birds and urban wildlife not as accessories to famous sites but as inhabitants and observers whose lives unfold alongside monumental human history.

London's landmarks are fixed in collective memory as symbols of power, ceremony, tourism and civic identity. The animals experience them differently: as perches, territories, shelters and routes. By bringing the witness into the foreground, the collection shifts attention away from monument alone and towards the living presence that inhabits it.

Precise black linework holds architecture and living bodies within the same visual language, while gold introduces another measure of time — cyclical, enduring and beyond any single human generation.

One of Trafalgar Square's great lions rests beneath the London skyline while pigeons perch, feed and move around it. The lion was made to endure; the pigeons arrive, leave and return. Together they speak to permanence in two very different forms.
