Aurea Vincula explores the invisible forces that bind living beings together. Through meticulously rendered birds and wildlife, the collection examines connection as a continuum expressed through devotion, protection, guidance, reciprocity, belonging and transformation.

Thousands of individual marks accumulate into each image, mirroring the gradual formation of relationships themselves. Gold leaf acts as both material and metaphor: a marker of what is precious yet intangible, and of the connections that endure beyond circumstance, distance and time.
