The virtual computer build project was an assignment for us to create a computer by selecting what kind of computer we wanted to build and finding good parts for it. I built a gaming computer and selected the parts I needed for that type of computer.
We had to select what parts would be able to help run with the type of computer we were building. Since I was building a gaming computer, I selected parts that would help run a gaming computer efficiently. For example, the CPU I selected was the Intel Core i9-14900K - Core i9 14th Gen 24-Core (8P+16E) LGA 1700 125W Intel UHD Graphics 770 Desktop Processor - Boxed – BX8071514900K because it is meant to be a processing unit for a gaming computer.
I learned a lot from this project. I learned that building computers takes a lot of research and time to find all the parts that are best for building your desired computer. Not all computers require the same CPU, operating system, monitor, and so on because not all computers require the same type of parts because all computers run differently. Therefore, computers require different parts.
