This project entails us googling news articles about cybersecurity. This project is to show how cybersecurity is still affecting people today even with advanced safety and security measures.
I learned that there are still a lot of people not aware of any cybersecurity procedures and precautions. Even big companies or corporations are still getting hacked or are victims of ransomware. This just shows that really no one is safe from hackers or cybersecurity threats and the prevention starts with you and learning to take the measures to prevent them.
Schools are not getting the proper funding that they need to prevent cybersecurity issues. Because of the lack of funding, they have been experiencing banking Trojans to ransomware. K-12 organizations are trying to be more mature in their knowledge about cybersecurity. They are now trying to provide training so staff members or anyone attending or working in schools will be aware and prepared to prevent and malicious malware.
