An early lesson from my time in student teaching. This was a rather successful lesson with my 7th graders, as they already had background knowledge of Benjamin Franklin so we used him as a guide stone for the discussion of the class.
This lesson is from the middle of my time with my 7th graders. Here we are working on a history project, where students are tasked with creating a WeVideo detailing the life and accomplishments of famous Americans. This lesson was introducing and explaining the process of storyboarding.
This lesson is from the end of my time with my 7th graders. I have used the peardeck to introduce the students to reading primary sources. Here, we read a newspaper article describing the death of a Mr. Snider, an important event leading up to the Revolutionary War.
This is the Peardeck used to teach students how to play the third part of Crown or Colony. Not only does this have all objectives, warm-ups, and discussion questions, but also links students directly to the game site and contains the activities for completion after the game.
