For this project, I had the privilege of creating 3D visuals for Armand De Brignac’s iconic champagne bottle, including the collaboration packaging with Tiffany & Co.
The challenge was to deliver high-end, visually stunning renders that highlighted both the craftsmanship of the bottle and the luxurious partnership with Tiffany.
The bottle design itself posed an interesting challenge.
The Ace of Spades logo was modelled in 3D using the Shrink-wrap modifier, wrapping the logo around the bottle seamlessly.
This approach was more efficient than using a displacement map, as it allowed me to maintain the intricate 3D detail while keeping the geometry light.
For the Tiffany & Co. collaboration box, I used procedural textures to replicate the iconic pattern and added a velvet texture inside to mirror Tiffany’s luxurious packaging.
A range of metallic material shades were utilized in the project, with particular emphasis on a colour-noised procedural metallic shader created in Blender. The bottle’s labels were hand-painted in Substance Painter to capture the intricate details and premium craftsmanship.
In Substance Painter, I created the textures for the bottle and its label to enhance its crafted, artisanal look. By utilizing edge masks driven by AO and Thickness maps, I was able to introduce subtle signs of wear, reinforcing the sense of a handmade, finely crafted design.
