A well-prepared lesson plan is vital for effective teaching, serving as both a guide and time management tool that enhances classroom interaction, clarity, and organization. During my teaching practice, my most successful lesson was on Model Making in Crown and Bridge for Year One Dental Technology students. I planned extensively, using a range of instructional media such as visual aids, real objects, printed materials, digital tools, and audio-visual content to enhance both theory and practical learning. The seamless transition from classroom theory to hands-on lab practice promoted active participation, improved understanding, and encouraged student engagement. Sharing the visual lesson plan with students provided clear direction, reducing confusion and disruptions. Ultimately, thoughtful planning and use of varied teaching aids ensured a well-structured, student-centered learning experience that met the lesson objectives effectively.
