My research is grounded in generative approaches to linguistics. I enjoy exploring theoretical models from the point of view of lesser studied languages. I primarily work with African, Slavic, South Asian, and Turkic languages. More specifically, I have worked with Senoufo-Nafara, Dholuo, and Swahili, Polish, Kannada and Hindi, as well as Kazakh and Turkish .
I also have secondary interests in sociolinguistics, language policy, ESL, and language acquisition.
