During my junior year in engineering acadamy, my class began learning how to build and code Arduino breadboards. Our first project was designing and coding a Arduino garage door opening circuit that would rotate a motor one way when the up button was pressed, rotate the motor the opposite way if the down button was pressed, and stop the motor if the stop button was pressed. We also were to incorporate an ultrasonic sensor and make our garage door motor stop if the ultrasonic sensor sensed less than 5 cm.
