A personal passion of mine is the study of astronomy. Unfortunately, with he exception of maybe two units in all of high school science, we never really get to talk about space. Even worse, students are often naturally interested in space science. With my background, I can bring space science into physics, chemistry, and general science on a regular basis.
Currently there are a number of questions and advancements occurring in astronomy. From launching a Tesla into the cosmos, to the death of the Mars Rover, to the potential of the James Webb Telescope. There is a lot of enrichment here that I want to give students the opportunity to take advantage of.
