Shown below is the work created by my art history elective, "A Journey in Time" which guides 6th grade students through the evolution of art and history, from 40,000 year old drawings in ancient caves of Australia to current technologies being used in visual arts careers. Students are tasked with project-based learning goals framed with two things in mind: learning traditional art skills in a variety of mediums and a deeper understanding of historically important cultures through exploration of their artwork.
