My role in Patient Zero was 3D artist. My responsibilities were:
Create assets with PBR materials
Collaborate closely with concept artist and designers
Prop placement
Retopology of older assets
My contributions
My biggest contributions for Patient Zero was asset creation. I was a volunteer who was looking to help in any projects I could get into. This was my first time taking on realism and it was an exciting experience to make real life objects.
Since most of the concepts were already created I had guidelines to follow. There we a couple of exceptions in which case I had to do my own research and get approval of props such as the bag of chips and incubators.
The following picture is a test of placing props within the room I also had to model out. It was a new process to do, but I was excited and glad I was able to take part in this opportunity.
