Cortland Recreation Conference
Cortland Recreation Conference
Attended the Cortland Recreation Conference for the past four years. The Cortland Recreation Conference is the nation's oldest, student-led conference. Attendance at the conference includes 200-400 students and professionals in recreation for the purpose of exchanging up-to-date information in the field. The conference includes an exhibitor/internship fair, a professional networking round table, special workshops and professional sessions led by experts in the recreation field.
The 70th Cortland Recreation Confernace looked a different this year. It was virtual with WebEx rooms for each presentation. I enjoyed how affordable and easy it was to attend the, but I hope to attend the conferance in person next year!
Shown below are certifications I earned while attending SUNY Cortland. The certifications include; Therapeutic Recreation Specialist certificate, 4 hours of Motivational Interviewing, 10 hours of Inclusion U, 2 hours of Mandated Reporter Training- Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Maltreatment, and Adult, Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
