Artificial intelligence can be utilized for many different purposes. In the listed photos (shown to the left), I utilized artificial intelligence for various purposes. I utilized artificial intelligence for humor and help while studying from time to time.
Artificial Intelligence's use in education is often heavily discriminated and there are widespread beliefs that A.I can hinder the learning experience (The Risks of AI in Schools Outweigh the Benefits, Report Says, 2026). While many see artificial intelligence as a mean of plagiarism, cheating, and lastly generating ideas the user wouldn't have had on their own, many users avoid artificial intelligence all together to avoid issues with their institution they belong to. There are many ways (examples within the carousel to the left) to use artificial intelligence within the means of schooling and within your institution's rulings. Utilizing A.I to brainstorm, make flashcards, and especially within my examples - using A.I to make study guides - are one of many great ways to simplify the learning experience and ensure an efficient process within education. Utilizing generative A.I for studying purposes can bring results you wouldn't have otherwise obtained, for example, I was able to use this study guide to obtain an 80% on my final for Medical Terminology studying prefixes and suffixes in the medical field. While many professors detest A.I's use in it's entirety, my personal belief is that A.I is not a complete replacement for genuine, authentic studying and is actually a tool to assist those in the studying process to study in a more efficient manner (The Risks of AI in Schools Outweigh the Benefits, Report Says, 2026).
Humor is subjective and many have used A.I for their own personal enjoyment. I particularly used A.I to place Arnold Scharzanagger in a photo with my girlfriend and I. I sent this photo to many elderly family members, and many of said family members just replied with phrases like, "great family photo!". While pranking elderly family members is just one simple way to use generative A.I for humorous reasons, many use generative A.I to make funny memes and trailers for movies that aren't real and often set in a satirical manner. The only downside to these fake movie trailers is that I will never be able to see the entirety of said movie due to its illegitimate nature.

Hardware is an underrated and widely understood portion of computing. To back this claim The World Economic Forum's senior writer even writes, "A quarter of adults can't use a computer" (Gray, 2017). While many just assume a computer works within a, "turn on, and do as I say" procedure, many people if they understood their hardware alone would have a greater clarification as to their computer's role in their life and how hardware can increase their computer's capabilities. For example, with a laptop - which has significantly less computing power than a desktop - cannot run software such as Steam (A gaming software), run multiple tabs while streaming videos, or even utilize editing software such as Da Vinci or Adobe. This is simply due to the laptop's hardware being significantly smaller than the average desktops hardware components. If more people understood their hardware, they would often invest into desktop computers, more monitors, and better components to maximize their capabilities whilst performing tasks.
CPU: The CPU determines the computing speed of said computer by, "clock speed". The CPU serves as the "nucleus" of the computer and the "better" the CPU, the faster your computer can process information being sent to the computer.
GPU: The graphics card and/or the video card allows for the system to produce an image on screen.
RAM: RAM also known as "random access memory" acts as a hard drive or a solid-state drive; however, RAM is primarily used for short term memory. Short term memory is basically whatever information you access on your computer whether it's an application, software, or just checking your email. The biggest difference between RAM and any other memory system is that RAM erases when you stop using your computer, where hard drives or solid-state drives save your progress long term.
Memory: A hard drive or solid-state drive acts as long-term memory for any computer. A hard drive acts almost as a disc in a dvd player except it reads and writes information. Hard drives can vary in speed but are typically reading and writing the data at a much slower rate than solid-state drives. Solid-state drives have all of their parts within the solid-state drive and don't have moving parts unlike the hard drive. Typically speaking most computers made in the past five years - and any made in the future - are always equipped with solid-state drives.
Power Supply: Power Supply powers the computer. The power supply is basically like an engine in the car. The power supply allows for electricity to pass through the components allowing for the computer to become powered. Acting like any engine, like a person's feet powering a bicycle, or even a paddle while using a canoe.
Case: The case is basically the house the components sit in. Many people get very creative within cases and can add light fixtures, put aquariums within the case, or even add exterior memory drives. You can think of cases like car shells/bodies. Many people decide on the cases they're going to purchase based on component size, personal taste, and even room within their space to fit within a desk's setting. You can think of cases - or any computer - like, "Pimp My Ride".
This is just one example of a "water-cooled" computer. This picture reveals that the customizations are endless when it comes to computer cases. As long as the parts fit and can work within their system, it will compute!
This is an example of how "minimalist" some computer set ups can be. While you don't neccesarily "need" a case for your components to connect and work, this is an example of what the lack of organization a case provides will result in.
I personally built my computer in 2019 - the year I graduated - with the help of a long-time friend named Adam. Adam hand selected each piece of hardware, explained what the hardware is for, and personally assisted with the building of said computer. I wanted to ditch my Playstation Four, and this was a long term solution to consolidating all the duties I wanted to complete such as playing video games, watching movies, doing schoolwork, editing video, and even creating a podcast! While the computer can perform all of these tasks with ease, the Playstation, Wii, or Xbox can only complete a few of said tasks at the cost of poorer performance. I thank my friend Adam often because this computer has assisted my life in so many ways. My girlfriend and I use my computer as a TV, I use it to play video games old and new (emulation), I have made an entire podcast with over seventy episodes through my computer, and I even edited videos for the band I was a part of (SEE BELOW). Having the hardware neccesary is obviously a huge part of this and I always implore anyone looking to consolidate their technology into their house to invest into a super computer. If you don't have an amazing, tech-savvy friend such as Adam, places such as Microcenter will be happy to assist you in this process.
