2. APU SALC (SELF-ACCESS LEARNING CENTER)
Have you ever tried out the Self-Access Learning Center (SALC) on the campus? It is a good place to enhance your language skills be it Japanese or even English! Since the coronavirus pandemic, SALC has gone online as well meaning that it is accessible for anyone even for those that live outside Japan in the moment. So be sure to check their website and try out SALC!
3. mYbIB! ONLINE REFERENCE GENERATOR
Have you ever heard about MyBib?? MyBib is a powerful online tools for generating reference, you just need to paste/upload the URL or PDF that you took the information from to your paper and this tools will automatically generate the reference for you even in APA style!
4. How to write a personal statement
Recently, I've got a lot of enquiries from students on "How do I write a Personal Statement?"
Well, worry-not because here are a few suggestions!
Include your research interests & Undergrad Thesis title in full
Along with your research, be sure to include your practical/applied experiences (e.g. Internships/ role in Cultural events/Arubaito etc)
Add 2-3 academic References (e.g. papers written by your target supervisor etc.)
Make the document more visually appealing to stand out from the crowd (e.g. use color; highlight key sections of font; add 1-2 photos; add APU letter head etc.)
