Event: Onboarding

What Is It?

Onboarding is the process of introducing individuals to our organizations and guiding members, both new and veteran alike, through the steps to join the fleet. It is one of the most important series of steps for us to complete as we enter a new era of Cloud 9, with great potential for many exciting adventures.

When Is It?

Different parts of the onboarding process occur at different points in time as a multi-session experience on each member's journey toward joining the fleet. One part of it is naturalization, which occurs for anyone who is a main member and has been with us for at least a few weeks of group activities. Orientation is then scheduled and takes place over the course of multiple sessions.

Dates will be posted via "Events" in Cloud 9 Chat and will later be moved here when we have a new calendar.

Where Is It?

Meet in voice in Cloud 9 Chat then party up and launch into the 'verse. The orientation part of it occurs at C9HQ, which is currently in one of our primary residence hangars at Orison. The crew activities take place across the 'verse.

Who Is Invited?

Anyone and everyone is invited for the early parts of this.

Eventually, Cloud 9 Citizenship is required in order to begin the orientation part of the process.
