In Instrumental Rep. & Rehearsal Techniques, I analyzed a few different pieces for Concert Band/Wind Ensemble. I was tasked with identifying some technical, stylistic, and musical characteristics that could pose challenges for students - as well as some strategies for tackling them.

For my midterm in Brass Pedagogy II, I was required to select a piece for a hypothetical junior districts audition and analyze it for technical and musical challenges. Additionally, I was required to propose solutions to these challenges - and eventually performed this piece for my final project.

"Sure On This Shining Night,"

My final assignment in Choral Repertoire & Rehearsal Techniques was to analyze a choral piece (including fully annotating the score), prepare a series of rehearsal plans for teaching it to a choir, and then conduct a full performance of it. I was assigned "Sure On This Shining Night," by Morten Lauridsen.
