I've composed and/or arranged everything here :)
In March 2025, UMass Lowell held a "New Music" Concert, and local composers were invited to submit new works to be premiered. I composed and submitted "Barter" (text by Sara Teasdale), and I was fortunate enough for my piece to be premiered at the concert by the UMass Lowell Chamber Singers. It's the first (and only) choral work that I've composed, and I'm incredibly grateful to have been selected!! :)
I took an Arranging course in Spring 2024, and my final assignment was to create an arrangement inspired by a folk song. I chose "Shenandoah" as the basis for my arrangement, and was lucky enough to hear it read by UMass Lowell's Wind Ensemble!!
In Arranging, one of my assignments was to create an arrangement of "A Child Is Born" (originally by Thad Jones) for brass sextet. I was luckily enough to hear my arrangement read by a few members of UMass Lowell's Wind Ensemble :)
I took a String Pedagogy course in Fall 2024, and one of our assignments was to direct a short rehearsal with our class. We were asked to either find/compose pieces to bring in, so I chose to arrange a brief section of "HOT TO GO!" by Chappell Roan
