Pawandeep Rajan, an illustrious alumnus of JNV Champawat, is a celebrated singer and musician who gained nationwide fame by winning Indian Idol 12 and The Voice India. Known for his soulful voice and versatility, he has mesmerized audiences across India and beyond. Pawandeep's journey from the hills of Uttarakhand to becoming a household name is a testament to his immense talent and dedication, making him an inspiration for aspiring artists.
Anupriya Rai, an esteemed alumna of JNV Champawat, Cleared UPSC Exam in 2022 and the again cleared it in 2025 with an AIR of 189. She completed her secondary education from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Champawat in 2014. Her success underscores the quality education and exposure provided by JNV Champawat and serves as an inspiration for future civil service aspirants. Her dedication and perseverance have made her a role model for students from Champawat and beyond.
Naman Joshi, a distinguished alumnus of JNV Champawat, is one of the youngest Indian authors to write a novel, Mad Alien. He also authored the popular poetry collection Kya Hoga?, widely acclaimed on Amazon. Naman is also a co-founder of a Think_Tank "IntellectusHub".
A graduate of Hindu College, DU, and a master’s student at Jamia Millia Islamia, Naman has cleared the NET exam in both Political Science and International Relations. His literary and academic achievements inspire young minds nationwide.
An alumnus of JNV Champawat, Batch of 2020, Pawan Murari is now a Lieutenant in the Indian Army. After completing his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry from BHU, he cleared the CDS exam with an All India Rank of 80, achieving his lifelong dream.
Coming from a humble middle-class family, Pawan’s journey is a testament to hard work and self-belief. His mantra, "A strong man and a waterfall carve their own paths," perfectly reflects his inspiring rise from modest beginnings to becoming an officer in the Indian Army.
Dr. Raja Prasad
Dr. Raja Prasad, an alumnus of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Champawat, (2005–2012) from Tanakpur, Uttarakhand, comes from a dedicated family background with his father serving in the ITBP and his mother as a homemaker. He pursued his medical journey after clearing NEET UG in 2013, completing his MBBS at Government Medical College, Srinagar, Uttarakhand. With a passion for excellence, he qualified NEET PG in 2023 and is currently specializing in Orthopaedics, pursuing his MS at the prestigious Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi. Dr. Prasad’s commitment to his field is a testament to his dedication and hard work.
