The government of India introduced the New Education Policy in the year 2020. The policy aims at the overall and holistic development of each student of India. With more emphasis on skill development and entrepreneurship development the policy is itself a new epoch in the education system of the nation. The policy transcends the earlier set boundaries of research and education and gives space for interdisciplinary education and future research. Finally implemented in the session of 2023-2024, the policy has been given practical shape by the University of Gour Banga.
