Our college is located in one of the remotest corners of the district of South Dinajpur in West Bengal. The location is rural and the community here are economically developing.  The aim of our institution is the upliftment of the community and for this the college has since its inception tried to reach out to them.  Simultaneously, the department of Political Science is also working on providing services to the community and reaching out to many as possible. The college hosted the inter-district college sports competition in the year 2019.  The event lasted for three days and the venue was Patiram High School ground at Par Patiram.  On the final day, the students and the teachers of the department took a small initiative to clean all the waste that the event generated.  In future also the department also will keep on contributing for the service of the society.
