Shaheed Smarak-Dharamshala
Project Type: Redevelopment of Park.
Our Role: Architect
Project Profile:. A large public park on a sloping site commemorating the martyrs. It is envisioned to keep the memory of the fallen soldiers and has various exhibits, walkways, caves and other public facilities.
It is designed to be suitable for local families, and tourists (both domestic and foreign).
The design offers a distinct welcoming entrance with adequate toilet and parking facilities , wooden bridges over water bodies and a central plaza for assembly and functions.
It also has a cave that can be explored holding armament and life size effigies of soldiers for curious children. A refurbished Tank and Fighter plane are also kept in the park.

Project Profile:.This is one of the largest public parks in India.
It offers a stadium, cricket ground, pools, jogging tracks, pavilions, club house, amphitheatres, etc. An old clubhouse has been redesigned and renovated.
One of the highlights of the project is the compound wall which showcases the local madhubani arts.
Viewing galleries at an elevated height give the visitors a more expansive view of the park.
Dr.Joshi Bungalow- Nanded
Project Type: Mixed use sustainable housing
Our Role: Architect
Project Profile:. The bungalow is multi-use and multi-level. Lower levels have a bank and clinic. Upper floors house the family. The ground floor front entrance is kept open as the main entrance for the bank.
It is characterized by a vertical garden on the adjacent walls which welcome the visitors. The first floor houses the main bank premises.
The upper residential area features an interesting skylight providing daylighting to the top floor family room and living room below.
Other aspects of passive solar design include stack ventilation, cross ventilation, shading, etc. The shade on the terrace also generates electricity through integrated solar PV modules. Solar domestic hot water systems provide free hot water to the toilets.
Cholayil Residence - Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu
Project type: Residential Bungalow

Project Profile:The bungalow is a weekend getaway for a family of 3 generations. The highlight of the bungalow is that it has been segregated into private and public areas by utilising the slope of the site.
The living room, kitchen, dining area and guest bedroom are located at the lower level. The living room has access to a large deck which has a view of the lake below. So it offers both indoor and outdoor living.
The bed rooms are kept at the upper level. Once again the bed rooms are separate. They are connected by a common interactive space that also functions as a breakfast space or informal dining area. The bedrooms get heated by a passive solar heating system called Trombe wall facing the south. They also have sunspaces having large glazed windows for outdoor activities. These can be closed during heavy rainfall.
The bedrooms and living area are connected by a meandering walkway with a swimming pool at mid level.
Atasa Resort - Raigad, Maharashtra
Project type: Hospitality
Our Role: Architect
Project Profile: This resort adjoins a river. The site has beautiful views of the river and surroundings. It is a sloping site. The resort is made up of a number of ground + 2 story buildings.
This provides flexibility in renting out the premises as either room wise or as a villa. The design is deliberately kept staggered to provide everchanging views as the visitor expires the site. Pathways, landscaping, terraces, etc. all provide interesting vistas.
Mistry Residence - Indore, Madhya Pradesh
Project type: Residential Bungalow
Our Role: Architect
Project Profile:This is a single family residence. It provides well lit and ventilated spaces in a narrow plot. The only access to light is from the road, so the bungalow has been broken down internally to provide small courtyards in the center, at the back, and the toilets to provide natural daylight and ventilation.
The living room is double height and is kept cool by stack ventilation and induced ventilation. It employs a number of other passive strategies such as shading, colour, choice of glazing materials, etc. Solar water heating and rainfall harvesting have been incorporated in the design.
L’Illusions - Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra
Project type: Hookah Bar and Restaurant
Our Role: Interior Design
Project Profile:This is a hangout place for young people on Parsik hill. It provides Billiard Table, Video Gaming, Hookah Bar and Restaurant facilities.
Use of color gradients and lighting provides an interesting ambience to the space. The built-up two central columns are eggshaped in plan. They have interesting colour gradients in metallic colours. The furniture is arranged around these central features. A transparent bead curtain has also been provided for separation of spaces.
