About Me

Hi, I'm Jillian!

I am an aspiring Instructional Designer and creative eLearning Developer looking to transition out of the classroom and into the private sector. Creating engaging and aesthetically pleasing lessons for a diverse range of learners has always been a passion of mine. The melding of technology and education into a seamless, cohesive unit is one of my favorite aspects of instructional design.  

As a result of over a decade of EdTech expertise in my secondary English classroom, I have provided numerous professional development trainings regarding instructional technology to my entire school district. I find staying up to date with the latest instructional technology and design trends to be a fun, engaging, and integral part of reaching today's learners in the most impactful way possible. 

In my free time, I enjoy drinking tea while reading historical fiction relating to WWII and the Victorian era. It's an added bonus if my cat Lulu is snuggling on my lap while I'm reading. I also find working on a myriad of craft projects very cathartic. My latest projects have included painting, resin, vinyl, sublimation, and macrame. Creativity feeds my soul, so I jump at the opportunity to craft any chance I get.
