Hey there! I'm Jesse, a Freelance Industrial and Product Development Designer. I've been immersed in the world of 3D modeling since 2015, starting with Solidworks and creating cool soccer playing robots. Throughout high school, I honed my skills and expanded my capabilities by exploring new software like Fusion 360 and Eagle. After graduating in 2020, I ventured into freelancing and collaborated with over 100 clients on diverse projects, spanning home products, industrial machines, and electro-mechanical wonders.
My background in robotics gives me a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical concepts. When designing, I always keep three key concepts in mind: simplicity, ergonomics, and functionality. My design process is a harmonious blend of thoroughness and efficiency, enabling me to create stellar designs tailored to each client's specific requirements and limitations. Communication is vital to me, as I prioritize constant and clear interaction with my clients, ensuring they are always up to speed with the progress.
Clients usually approach me with three common project requests:
1) Designing the product: From a mere idea, I transform it into a functional 3D model ready for prototyping. Clients can then take this model to manufacture it themselves or outsource the manufacturing process.
2) Designing and prototyping: In addition to the above, I take charge of delivering a fully functioning prototype. Whether it's 3D printing in-house or outsourcing specific components, I ensure a tangible result.
3) Preparing for mass manufacturing: Apart from the previous two stages, I guide clients through the intricacies of mass production. I connect them with reputable manufacturers—be it injection molding or CNC shops—facilitating direct communication.
I thrive on the diversity of freelance projects and eagerly embrace new challenges. My favorite ventures are those that push me to learn and grow, where I dive into research and consult experts to overcome obstacles.
If you're looking for a dedicated designer, I'm here for you! Let's connect and discuss your project together.
