The
action research project presented here examines the impact teachers' expectations have on a students' relationship with technology. First, it describes the
research questions I formulated to guide my proposed research. Current and relevant
literature on this topic is then explored to provide context. This project also describes the diverse
population that this intervention is intended for, including descriptions of potential
focus students. The proposal then describes a reflective questioning
intervention designed to improve teachers’ expectations and students’ perceptions of technology. This project also showcases the proposed
pre-tests and post- tests that would be employed to measure the effectiveness of this intervention. Lastly, this project provides a plan for
analyzing and reporting data, as well as a personal
reflection of this process.
