Hello! My name is Jessica Costa and I am a teacher candidate at California State University, Fullerton. I created this website as a way to share my journey in action research. My current area of research is teachers' expectations of their students' academic capabilities. To narrow this broad topic for my current action research project, I decided to focus specifically on technology. By reviewing the literature on this topic, I hope to create a protocol that helps me to raise my expectations of students' technology usage. In the future, I hope to refine this process and lead professional development seminars on this topic. I find it highly important that educators hold high expectations for their students, especially in an increasingly relevant area like technology. I invite you to join me in this process as I am always looking to learn from my colleagues and to help others in their journey.
