 226-227 Closing.pdf
226-227 Closing.pdfThinking back to our cover and other theme pages, I wanted to make sure to recapture all of those elements one more time in the final closing spread. The dominant photo wouldn't work as a cob, so I decide to included a full cutout to interact with the theme statement to bring in the layered typography. I chose to not make the dominant photo black and white as it would have taken away the beautiful colors from the photo. With the smaller black and white photo on this spread I chose to do a cob because I still wanted it to stand out, but within our book we did small cobs to make photos pop. I chose to duotone the graduation photo with a 10-point outline to add more color to the spread like I did in previous pages. I continued putting the captions in a black screen like other theme pages trapped within a well, I placed a black bar underneath the dominant to help separate it from the pink bar.
