Jerble – Terms of Service

Welcome to Jerble ("Jerble," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Jerble application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Jerble is operated by an individual sole proprietor based in Jamaica.
By creating an account or using Jerble, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Jerble. We ask for your date of birth to confirm this — when you sign up with email, or before you first use Jerble if you sign in with Google or Apple — and we do not store it. Until you confirm your age, your account cannot join, create, or be added to any team or organization. If you sign in with Google or Apple and are under 18, your account is deleted.
By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement, that the date of birth you give is true, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. If you sign in with Google or Apple, keep that account secure too: anyone who can sign in to it can sign in to Jerble as you. Notify us at teamjerble@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Jerble is a scheduling and team coordination platform that allows users to create teams and organizations, schedule events, assign roles, manage availability, and communicate with their team. Certain features are available only through paid subscriptions.
Users may create or join multiple teams and organizations.
Teams are the primary operational unit within Jerble.
Organizations act as containers for teams.
Roles and permissions are assigned within teams and organizations and determine access to features and administrative actions.
You are responsible for ensuring that users you invite have the authority to act within your team or organization, and that you have any consent needed to share their information with the Service.
You retain ownership of the content you create in Jerble — your messages, attachments, events, and team data. You grant Jerble a limited licence to host, store, transmit, and display that content solely as needed to operate the Service for you and your teams.
You are responsible for the content you upload. You agree not to:
Use Jerble for unlawful purposes
Upload content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
Upload malicious code or otherwise abuse the platform
Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Your use of Jerble is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. Please read it — it describes the diagnostic data the app collects.
Paid subscriptions are sold and charged through the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by Jerble directly.
Your purchase is a transaction between you and Apple or Google. Their terms and refund policies apply to it.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — not inside Jerble.
Jerble cannot issue refunds. Refund requests must go to Apple or Google.
Full details, including what a subscription grants and what happens when it lapses, are set out in our Subscription & Billing Terms, which form part of these Terms.
Jerble is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always sync without delay.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jerble is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Jerble is a coordination tool, not a system of record. You should not rely on Jerble as the sole record of anything critical — scheduling, attendance, or otherwise. Keep your own backup of anything you cannot afford to lose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Jerble shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or missed events or shifts, arising from your use of the Service.
Jerble's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) US$50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any statutory consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jerble from any claim, demand, loss, or expense arising from content you upload, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of any third party — including members you invite to your teams.
You may stop using Jerble at any time, and you may delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.
Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and your data will be handled as described in our Account Deletion policy. Deleting your Jerble account does not cancel a subscription you purchased through Apple or Google — you must cancel that separately in your store account settings.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that the courts of Jamaica shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted, and the Effective Date above will be updated. Where changes are significant, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
