Exhibit 5

Design: This year my older brother organized a race inspired by our county fair's lawn mower race this summer. I wanted to create a graphic that showcased the different vehicles used this year that could also be used to promote next years race. I love my family and their creativity and I really wanted to make this for them.

Contrast: I used a white font to contrast the bright blue sky but I also love how it almost fades away near the horizon where the sky gets lighter.

Repetition: There is repetition simply in the row of contestants. I also repeated the font on both lines so it would look big and chunky.

Alignment: The contestants are aligned using the rule of thirds and I aligned the two lines of text.

Proximity: I used the big chunky font to fill all the sky space.

Typography: I used the font Boots and Spurs. I think it really helped give a hill-billy vibe to the design.

Color: I used the gradient tool to add a color gradient from bright blue to white. I did this to brighten up the blue and add a washed out look to the photo.
