My life is measured out in empty teacups,
And dirty paper cups that once held coffee
Rolling under the passenger seat of my car
To the rhythm of my erratic heartbeat and
Weezer on the radio.
The rushing need to get somewhere
The two steps taken, four steps lost
The tango-ing with the myriad options,
Pa pa,pa PA, Pa pa. pa PA
Moving with such energy
And noticing the little things, like
Rainy nights and seethrough leaves
While missing more than my fair share
Of human moments, face- á-face.
The berlin wall restored
And spring fleshes out, in spasmic
Gasps, and the colour hurts my attic –tuned eyes
And grabs the attention from the manic little things
And says, whith painted nails pointing
Stop,change,convert
But so help me, the heavens are silent after this
Tyrade and leave me with the muddled dicet.
No explaination of WHY my moments, hours
And days were rejected,
and no yellow brick road to skip down
