I am currently a senior (undergrad) at Radford University studying to be an Elementary Educator! I have two concentrations, English and Special Education. For as long as I can remember I have dreamed of being a teacher, so making it this far is a dream come true! I am from a little town in Southwest Virginia. However, I enjoy living in Radford, and I plan to stay in the area after graduation. Next year I begin my blocking and student teaching, and I am both nervous and excited to embark upon this journey. My goal for these coming semesters is to truly inspire my assigned classrooms and students. I hope that I can create truly meaningful lessons that will stay with the students throughout their educational career. Education should be fun, and I intend to show kids that it can be. I like to consider myself to be creative and innovative, which I hope will contribute to my success in my cooperating classroom. I am passionate, determined, and I always try to keep a positive attitude. I will be ready and willing to do whatever it takes to push my students to their fullest potential! I am not perfect. There are many areas of need in my professional development. However, I am so grateful and blessed to be given a great opportunity from such a prestigious university. My hope is that I will be able to learn from EVERYONE in the Elementary setting. I have a great deal left to learn, and I cannot wait to get started!
Yours truly,
Jenna M
