My experiences as an ENL Teacher, reading teacher, remote teacher, and substitute teacher, have given me the opportunity to work collaboratively with grade level teachers, special area teachers, as well as school specialist. I believe sharing decisions among colleagues builds a strong learning environment. Something that sets me apart from other teaching candidates is that I have a strong work ethic. I am capable of working with others but also learning from experienced teachers. I take pride in myself that I am not afraid to ask questions if I am not sure about something. I believe that teachers are always learning, and some of the best people to learn from are each other so I am always asking my colleagues what they are doing in their classroom, and if it is okay for me to observe them teaching a lesson.  Having good a positive work environment, makes for a positive classroom environment. If the students see their teachers getting along, it makes them feel more comfortable and provides for a safe, collaborative, learning environment. 

I would be a great asset to your school, as I am enthusiastic, responsible, and hard working. I get to know my students on a personal level, in order to build a strong relationship. I believe it is important to create a rapport with them, so they know they can come to me with what ever they need. I also incorporate the latest technology into my lessons, as well as, create hands on learning activities for my students.  I take into account children’s different learning styles, and their specific needs, so that I can differentiate lessons properly. I am also certified to teach English to Speakers of another language.
