Hello! My name is Jenna Sapienza! I am 28 years old, and I have worked in Farmingdale School District as a 6th and 7th grade ENL Teacher, Kindergarten and First Grade Reading Teacher, as well as, a Third Grade Remote Teacher. My experience has given me the opportunity to work with a diverse student population.
In 2017, I graduated from Adelphi University where I received my B.A in English. From there, I continued my education and in 2018, I received my Masters in Childhood Education as well as, my Advanced Certification in Middle School Education. I have my initial certification in Childhood Education, grades 1-6. as well as, my certification in English to Speakers of Other Languages.
One of my favorite areas to teach is English! I love engaging in student conversation, through student-centered learning built upon open-ended questions, hands-on activities, and classroom discussions, I hope to prompt students to think creatively and explore their natural curiosity.
In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, reading, journaling and spending time with my family!
