For Poster Presentation

The poster size is standard A0 size (84,1 cm x 118,9 cm), portrait format. You should bring your own clips !

The evaluation will be based on your poster, the time with the jury is limited to 3 minutes total. In this way, it is the responsibility of poster presenters to make sure that at least one of the authors is in attendance to make the brief introductory presentation and to take part in the poster discussion during is own session.

Your speech and text must be in english.

For Oral Presentation

Each presentation should be 10 minutes long and will be followed by 5 minutes questions. Presentations longer than 10 minutes will be stopped to respect our schedule. The chairman will have an orange card to signal that you have to conclude (30 sec left) and that it is time for questions.

Please remember that the JED are open to anyone so it is important to make your explanations clear enough for people with any kind of knowledge in biology. We are not all experts in your field. The main criteria are that it should be understandable for everyone and that you respect the time limits.

Technical Specifications

1. A PC with powerpoint is set up. Please provide a pdf version to be sure.
2. The screen ratio is 4:3.
3. Video files must be produced to be playable.

Presentation Data Submission

1. Please send us your presentation before the 27th of March, 2019. We recommend you to save the back-up data as a PDF file in case your power point file is not displayed as expected.
